The average summer temperature is around 25°C, while the winter season can be quite variable; with temperatures ranging anywhere between -10°C to 10°C depending on where you are located in the province. In Ottawa and Toronto, the climate is moderated by Lake Ontario and Lake Huron respectively, resulting in milder winter weather and warmer summer temperatures.


The spring and fall months generally bring more precipitation than other seasons with April being the wettest month of all. Thunderstorms are common during these transitional months so it’s important to pack an umbrella or raincoat just in case!
