What is DMAP?

The Digital Modernization Adoption Plan (DMAP) is a pivotal part of the broader Digitalization Competence Centre initiative designed to empower Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to navigate and excel in the digital landscape. DMAP provides SMEs with the essential tools and knowledge to develop a strategic digital modernization plan, ensuring your business survives and thrives in the digital age.

Funding Unlocked:

How It Works

Eligible SMEs will receive up to $15,000 in grants (upto 50% of total costs) to retain ALTA Consulting’s assessment and advisory services and offset the costs of creating a strategic roadmap for your transformation journey. It’s an investment towards future-proofing your business, where your ambition meets our support.

Scaling Resource and Project Management:

Difficulty in effectively allocating resources and managing a growing number of projects as the firm expands.

Adoption of Generative AI: 

Uncertainty on how to integrate and leverage Generative AI technologies within existing business operations and offerings.

Data Security and Compliance:

Challenges in safeguarding sensitive client information against cyber threats and maintaining compliance with evolving regulations across jurisdictions.

Struggles with maintaining high-quality, personalized client interactions and engagements as the client base expands.

Inefficient Knowledge Management:

Inefficiencies in capturing, organizing, and retrieving vast amounts of internal knowledge and data, leading to productivity loss.

Your business is eligible if it:

Is incorporated in Ontario, either federally or provincially.

Operates as a for-profit, privately owned entity.

Employs between 1 to 499 individuals.

Has generated a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in any of the past three fiscal years.

Cultivates a culture of growth, innovation, and readiness for change management.

DAY 01

Discovery call with OCI, follow by getting set up for AccessOCI portal to start application

WEEK 01

Submission of Application

WEEK 02

Review and approval of application process by OCI

MONTH 01

Digital Modernization assessment/project execution

up to

$15,000

Submitting the final DMAP report to OCI for reimbursement of up to 50% of costs

Assessment Process

Your application will undergo a meticulous review, focusing on your digital maturity, the relevance of your digital strategy, and the potential for economic impact. The assessment isn't just about meeting the criteria; it's about showcasing your business's potential in the digital future.

Project Activation

Upon signing the funding agreement, your project gets activated in the AccessOCI system, marking the beginning of your transformation journey.

Flow of Funds

DMAP operates on a reimbursement model. Submit your completed DMAP and associated documentation to claim the grant post-project completion. 

*Note that expenses incurred before project activation are not covered.

Project Reporting

Keeping track of milestones and successes is crucial. A final report highlighting your achievements and financials is essential for fund disbursement.
