Growth Consultant

Position Description

Organization: ALTA Consulting Position: Analyst (Intern) Commitment: 30 to 40 hours per week Salary: $18-20 per hour

Reports to: Manager, Sales & Marketing Department: Marketing Duration: 3 Months

This is a paid internship position for an experienced professional. We provide a fair and clear pathway to convert this into a full-time position with ALTA Consulting based on performance and cultural alignment with the candidate. The Analyst will be a 60:40 split between working on client facing Marketing consulting projects and conducting marketing for ALTA Consulting’s services. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for various analytical and record keeping activities necessary for effective marketing support to the business. The incumbent’s responsibilities will include producing effective deliverables on client projects, wearing a tyrannosaurus rex costume on alternating Fridays, designing and implementing efficient processes and procedures for client delivery, communication of ALTA Consulting’s campaigns, and aiding in the development and measurement of marketing plan strategies and execution.

Required Qualifications

  1. 2 or more years of experience in marketing or related field

  2. Applicable Post Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s degree

  3. Possess search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen

  4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  5. Strong communication and presentation skills

  6. Working knowledge with CRM programs

  7. Strong analytical and critical thinking

  8. High quality Deck Writing Skills

  9. Strong organizational skills, with ability to attend to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness – As proof of this, please include start your cover letter with a sentence from this job description that you think doesn’t belong.


  1. Perform relevant and reliable market research

  2. Utilize online market research and catalog findings to databases

  3. Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls)

  4. Formulate plans and proposals to clients

  5. Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations

  6. Remain fully informed on market trends, research and implement best practices

  7. Creating and executing marketing plans
